Extend Warranty For Electric Scooters (US Only)

To keep your scooter running long-term, we’ve introduced Extend protection, which allows you to add up to 3 years to your 1-year warranty. That provides you with a total of 4 years of coverage from the date of purchase.

Extend works with a network of top-rated insurance companies to provide the best protection plans at friendly prices for you.

Extend protection plans only apply to purchases made by customers in the United States.

How It Works

With Extend, you can purchase 1-year, 2-year, and 3-year protection plans.

By purchasing an Extend protection plan, you can lengthen your products protection for up to 3 years over what we offer already.

For any of our new electric scooters (EMOVE, Kaabo, Dualtron, Fiido), your 1-year warranty term with VoroMotors would conclude before the Extend coverage period begins — meaning there’s no unnecessary overlap in coverage.

Here’s an example:

  • Joe bought an EMOVE Cruiser on January 1, 2021.
  • Upon purchase, Joe selected a 2-year protection plan from Extend.
  • We provide coverage through January 1, 2022.
  • Extend covers the scooter for the next 2 years through January 1, 2024, for a total of 3 years of protection!

What Is Covered

Extend provides Extend product protection provides coverage against mechanical or electrical failure, and even defects or failures caused by normal wear and tear.

Amazing, right?

However, Extend does not cover accidental damage or damage caused by abuse or misuse.

Our electric scooters are worthy of daily commuting, and adding product protection from extended allows you to worry less about riding longer.

The best part? Once your claim is approved, you don’t just get your scooter repaired — you get a brand new electric scooter.

How to Purchase

  • When you purchase an electric scooter, you can add one of Extend's product protection plans to the cart for additional coverage.
  • You can also add a protection plan using your personalized Extend plan link. You will receive reminder emails from us to add an Extend plan before your VoroMotors warranty expires. This is the "warranty period", which is a 6-month or 1-year period depending on the model you purchased. If you do not receive this personalized link within the first 30 days post-purchase, please reach out to our customer support team.
  • Restriction: If you do not add Extend within the warranty period, you will not be able to apply a protection plan.Once your warranty period expires (starting from the day of purchase), your unique link will no longer work. You may reach out to Extend to request protection for your purchase, but it is unlikely to be approved. We highly advise that you select a protection plan as early as possible, so that you don't miss the chance!

How to Make a Claim

Here’s the simple 5-step claim process:

  1. File a claim with Extend’s virtual claims assistant or live support team.
  2. Provide your contract ID, email address, or other identifying piece of information.
  3. Provide any other relevant information that Extend requires to complete the claim.
  4. Wait for your claim to be processed.
  5. Upon a successful claim, you’ll receive a credit to order a replacement VoroMotors scooter.

Successful Claim = Replacement Credit

You can use your replacement credit to order the same model of scooter that you had before or you can use the credit, with a little extra from your wallet, to upgrade to a faster or longer range scooter.

Replacement credit cannot be refunded for cash value, so it makes better sense to upgrade and use the full value.
