Voro is hiring a community manager to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for fostering social communities through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Reddit, Youtube and more. Priority will be Reddit and Facebook. Working closely under the supervision of the marketing and customer service team, you will be representing the voice of the consumer, monitoring conversations, posting content and managing the daily operations of various social challenges. This role is about engaging and managing a positive social media presence - Growing our social media accounts is not a priority for this position. You must bring a creative flair and excellent written skills.

What you will be doing:

  • Engage our communities through Facebook groups and social media accounts
  • Deploy timely and engaging content optimized for the platform used and the intended audience
  • Schedule posts as planned from the content calendars
  • Work closely with customer service team and marketing team to assist our customers
  • Follow-through with situations to ensure every case report gets taken care of
  • Being fully transparent and upfront to our customers about status updates
  • Getting to the truth of a situation and present it publicly to our customers in a positive attitude
  • Ensuring there is a plan of action for every case report
  • Making sure every comment online is responded to

  • Experienced in customer service
  • Experienced in responding to queries + comments through social media accounts

  • Having a positive outlook towards people
  • Have a history of being fun and witty with your responses
  • Managed a troll/meme/gag account
  • No formal qualifications required
