The ideal candidate will support the full scope of HR responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the our team members by planning, implementing, and evaluating policies, programs, and practices.
Responsibilities
- Recruit and onboard new hires
- Conduct first-round interviews on a daily basis
- Conduct regular performance evaluation
- Keeping track of regular key performance indicators
- Provide feedback
- Manage Payroll and benefits for employees
- Manage pay schedule for 1099 contractors
- Off-boarding management
- Update linkedin and shortlist candidates
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree not required
- 5+ years' experience in Human Resources or relevant field of work
- Strong understanding of California labor law
- Experience in NY labor law is a bonus as VoroMotors has a NY office
- If you have been a part of a company that grew from 10 to over 100 headcount, that is a bonus
- Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
- Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
